Erin Li (China/Hong Kong) is a curator and dance enthusiast. Her recent curatorial practice centres around performance and participatory works, site-specific art, the poetics of materiality, and cross-disciplinary experiments.

As Asymmetry Curatorial Fellow at Whitechapel Gallery, Erin will work with Whitechapel Gallery’s exhibition department on various research and curatorial projects, and also conduct independent research on projects where street dance and contemporary art converge.

As Associate Curator at Tai Kwun Contemporary, Erin has worked on numerous exhibitions and art events, including curating emo gym (2022) and co-curating The Unsung (2021). She is also a member of the AICA (International Association of Art Critics). Her published articles have appear in Artforum.com.cn and other art platforms.

Erin was born in Hefei, China. She has lived and worked in Hong Kong since 2011.
