Petros Moris (Greece) is a visual artist based in Athens. His work deals with the dynamics between manifestations of memory and the processes that relate to the pending project of the future. This aesthetic inquiry looks at the stratifications of the material, technological and cultural environments, as well as the fateful interrelations between natural and social phenomena. His practice develops mainly through sculptural production and writing, as well as through a network of artistic, curatorial and publishing collaborations.

During his residency at Delfina Foundation, Petros will focus on the development of his artistic research on the geological and mythological aspects of underground space, and its relationships to processes of urban transformation and the imaginary of technological advancement.

Petros has presented his personal and collective work in solo shows at: Project Native Informant, SPACE, DUVE Berlin, Union Pacific, Point Centre for Contemporary Art, the Embassy of Cyprus in Athens, and ROOM E-10 27; as well as in group shows including: The Same River Twice, Benaki Museum, Athens 2019; Fast Forward Festival 6, Onassis Cultural Center, Athens 2019; Tomorrows, Le Lieu Unique, Nantes 2019; The 4th New Museum Triennial, New Museum, New York 2018; Geometries, Agricultural University, Athens, 2018; The Equilibrists, Benaki Museum, Athens 2016; Roy Da Prince, Futura, Prague 2016; Architecture Undigested, Fused Space, San Francisco, 2014; and Afresh, National Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens 2013.

He has been part of the art collective KERNEL; nominated for the Deste Prize 2015; awarded with the ARTWORKS Stavros Niarchos Fellowship; and is an Onassis Foundation Scholar.
