Winter 2020
Future rituals
Delfina Foundation is pleased to announce the fourth season of our Performance as Process theme, subtitled Future rituals.
Taking place over the first three months of 2020, the programme hosts international residents who are working with performativity through language, ritual, mythology and technology.
Over the Future rituals season, our residents will initiate research – together with other practitioners – working at the intersection of geology, urban development, behavioural psychology and speculative fiction. The programme’s focus will explore relations between daily practices and bodily movement to processes of urban and technological advancement and imaginations of the future.
As part of the programme artist-in-residence Sena Basoz will be developing a new performance work which will premiere at Block Universe festival 2020.
Residents
Due to the coronavirus outbreak our winter residents returned home early and continued the last weeks of their residencies remotely, with online studio visits and digital presentations of their work. Read more here.
