Delfina Foundation is pleased to announce the fourth season of our Performance as Process theme, subtitled Future rituals.
Taking place over the first three months of 2020, the programme hosts international residents who are working with performativity through language, ritual, mythology and technology.
Over the Future rituals season, our residents will initiate research – together with other practitioners – working at the intersection of geology, urban development, behavioural psychology and speculative fiction. The programme’s focus will explore relations between daily practices and bodily movement to processes of urban and technological advancement and imaginations of the future.
As part of the programme artist-in-residence Sena Basoz will be developing a new performance work which will premiere at Block Universe festival in May 2020.
Further public programme events will be posted here shortly.
Supporters of the season’s residencies include: Arts Council England, ARTWORKS, Mondriaan Fund, SAHA Association, Sobey Art Award, SP-Arte and Delfina Foundation’s Network of Asia-Pacific Patrons. Sena Basoz’s commission is produced through a partnership with SAHA Association and Block Universe.
