Yudi Noor, Listening Post, 2011.


Yudi Noor (Indonesia/Germany), beginning with performance and documentation in a practice based on accumulation and observation, explores the relational state of material as an abstract visualisation. He proposes spiritual signification in minimal compositions through work in sculpture, installation, photo and collage.

Solo exhibitions include, Clear Mountain (2011) and Accumulation and the Hereafter Perception (2012), Christian Ehrentraut, Berlin; Between the Bars(2010) and In-kawr-puh-reyt (2011), Nettie Horn, London; and We Have Time, Kunstverein Arnsberg (2009). Selected group shows include Preloaded Key; Colour, Galerie Stadtpark, Krems (2010); Pastiche: When a tree falls in the forest…SAIR Jedyrup, Denmark (2010).

Yudi was born in West Java, Indonesia, and lives and works in Berlin.
