Tony Lyu (South Korea) is an angel investor focusing on the technology, consumer, and content industries. His investments in the art sector include an art fair, news media, art storage, and art valuation. He also serves as an advisor at SBVA, a venture capital firm.

In terms of philanthropy, Tony serves on the Council of the Serpentine Galleries, the Asian Art Circle at the Guggenheim Museum, the International Leadership Council at the New Museum, as a Global Ambassador at LACMA, and as a member of Delfina’s Network of Asia-Pacific Patrons.

Previously, Tony founded Korbit, Korea’s first cryptocurrency exchange, leading it through its acquisition by NXC Corporation. He also co-founded TIDE Institute, a nonprofit providing entrepreneurship education since 2011.

As a resident at Delfina Foundation, Tony explores the intersection of art and technology, including digital art and online platforms.

Tony holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cooper Union in New York and a master’s degree in Financial Economics from the University of London.
