Okhran Huseynov (Azerbaijan) works through a diverse range of mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture and installation. He draws much of his inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, not only the visual or decorative arts, but from its poetry, architecture and everyday life.

Okhran studied in A.Azimzade Art college, Faculty of Ceramic Design (1995). He earned his bachelor degree from Azerbaijan State University of Art & Culture, Faculty of Ceramic Design (2000) and his Master’s from Azerbaijan State Fine Art Academy Faculty of Art History and Theory (1999). Okhran represented his country in the 55th Venice Biennale and lives and works in Baku.
