Benedicta M. Badia de Nordenstahl (Argentina) has been engaged in the art world for over two decades, during which her focus and passion has been Latin American contemporary art.

A philanthropist at heart, Benedicta’s practice as a collector has extended to advocacy, education and support across the whole arts ecosystem. After relocating to Singapore with her family in 2017, Benedicta has started to study and engage in the Asian contemporary art market and is working towards expanding her collection in this area.

Benedicta’s experience in the art world includes representing the Brazilian art gallery Thomas Cohn; specialised art translation for the Latin American art magazine ArtNexus; managing guided tours operations for Art Basel Miami Beach; serving in an ambassadorial role for The Armory Show; as well as conducting research projects and working in gallery operations, press and public relations.

She is a member of Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum’s Latin America Circle Acquisitions Committee; Chair of 2020 Post-Human Benefit Night for NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore; Board Member at Intuit: Intuitive and Outsider Art Center, Chicago; Co-Chair of the International Advisory Board Committee of Fundación ArteBA; and a supporter of the International Acquisitions Committee of the Museo Rufino Tamayo, Mexico.
