As part of Delfina Foundation’s autumn 2019 science technology society programme, this discussion examined new network discourses around decentralised infrastructure.
The event was hosted by Delfina Foundation resident Burak Arikan and UK associate Gary Zhexi Zhang, with invited speakers Helen Knowles, Ami Clarke and Victoria Ivanova.
Topics of discussion included how artists use decentralised systems as creative and critical media, how these systems enable new ways of organising, the future of cultural infrastructure, platform cooperativism, and the relationship between software and sovereignty.
