Join us to celebrate the publication 101: Arte Contemporáneo Ecuador – the most comprehensive survey of current art practices in the country to date.

In partnership with EACHEVE, the supporter of an annual residency opportunity for Ecuadorian artists, Delfina Foundation hosts an evening celebrating this seminal publication and discussing the art scene in Ecuador today.

Alongside an opportunity to browse and purchase the publication (£80), EACHEVE Director Eliana Hidalgo Vilaseca (also a collector-in-residence at Delfina Foundation during this week) will be in-conversation with artist and curator Manuela Ribadeneira discussing the diversity and creative power the nascent contemporary art scene of Ecuador and situating it in its cultural, social, and political contexts.

During her residency, Eliana Hidalgo Vilaseca will be working with Delfina to also place this publication in free-to-access libraries to serve as a reference material for scholars, artists and the general public in the UK.
