In Conversation: Raed Yassin and Stephanie Bailey

To complement the exhibition and residencies that form part of The Politics of Food, Delfina Foundation will be hosting a series of events including lunchtime talks and dinner discussions; performances around cooking and eating; film and video screenings; and ‘Food Fights’, a series of cooking contests and debates between leading art world professionals.

Stephanie Bailey, Managing Editor of Ibraaz, who also writes for Artforum, ArtAsiaPacific, Modern Painters, LEAP and Yishu Journal for Contemporary Art will be in conversation with artist, musician and Delfina Foundation resident Raed Yassin. Yassin’s work often originates from an examination of his personal narratives and their workings within a collective history, through the lens of consumer culture and mass production.
