Join us for an informal social event to get to know our current group of residents of science_technology_society.

The third season of science_technology_society explores how emergent technologies complicate our understanding of mental well-being. The season probes the potential for intersecting art, science, and technology to reimagine mental health support, justice, and pride.

In addition to having a drink and chat with our residents, we hope this social event will also be an occasion to meet and make connections with other local art practitioners in the city.

This season we are thrilled to be hosting Abdul Halik Azeez (Sri Lanka), Anna Costa e Silva (Brazil), Ali Akbar Mehta (India/Finland), Aracha Cholitgul (Thailand), Caroline Sinders and Romy Gad el Rab (UK Associates), Dennis Dizon (Philippines/Spain), Doreen Chan (Hong Kong/USA), Gabriella Hirst (Australia/Germany), Micha Frazer-Carroll (UK Associate), Simon Speiser (Germany/Ecuador), and Xin Liu (UK Associate).

This is a casual event with refreshments provided. At 18:45 there will be a 30 minute pause to the conversations to allow our residents to briefly introduce their practices to all those gathered.

This season’s residencies are supported by George Keyt Foundation, Instituto Inclusartiz, Goethe-Institut UK, Acción Cultural Española (AC/E), Mercedes Zobel, Delfina Foundation’s Network of Patrons for the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, Delfina Foundation’s Network of Asia-Pacific Patrons, and Delfina’s Network of Patrons for Latin America and the Caribbean.
