Delfina Foundation is raising £7 million to purchase and renovate our London home and invest in the programmes that make it a vital space for artists, curators and thinkers from around the world.

A GLOBAL CATALYST

Founded by visionary philanthropist Delfina Entrecanales, Delfina Foundation and our predecessor, Delfina Studios, have supported more than 1,000 artists and cultural practitioners across four decades.

Today, Delfina is the largest international artist residency programme in the UK, with a global network spanning more than 95 countries.

Our home provides something increasingly precious: time, space and freedom for artists to research, experiment and exchange ideas. It is a place where perspectives meet, creative relationships develop and new possibilities emerge.

The impact of these encounters extends far beyond our walls, shaping exhibitions, institutions and cultural conversations around the world.

SECURING OUR FUTURE

The home that has shaped Delfina’s work for decades is not yet permanently secured.

We have until January 2028 to secure the building, presenting a once-in-a-generation opportunity to protect a home uniquely suited to Delfina’s work and ensure that generations of artists can continue to benefit from all it makes possible.

TURNING SPACE INTO IMPACT

This campaign is about more than securing a building. It is an investment in artists, ideas and the relationships that shape our cultural future.

With your support, we will:

• Enable 600 more residencies by 2035, providing artists, curators and thinkers with the space and freedom to develop new work.
• Renovate and improve our London home, creating a greener, more sustainable building for future generations.
• Strengthen our international community through a dedicated Alumni Programme, supporting lasting connections and opportunities for collaboration.
• Develop new creative programmes, bringing together artists, curators, makers and craftspeople across disciplines.
• Inspire the next generation through a new Talent Programme for young people in London.
