ALSO

In addition, In the Shade of the Sun, a group exhibition at The Mosaic Rooms, has been brought together by Bilna’es – an a-disciplinary platform initiated, among others, by our 2009 alumni duo Ruanne Abou-Rahme & Basel Abbas as a way to support artistic communities in Palestine and beyond. This exhibition runs from 6 September 2023 to 14 January 2024.

Furthermore, Shiraz Bayjoo, UK associate in 2020, is part of the group show Story, Place at No.9 Cork Street, running 6 – 21 October 2023.

Two Delfina Studios (our predecessor organisation) artists also have significant solo shows in London this season: Liu Ye at David Zwirner, the first time his work has been shown in London since 2002; and Urs Fischer at Sadie Coles HQ.

Later this year Alia Farid (in-residence in 2013) will have her first exhibition in the UK at Chisenhale Gallery, running 1 December 2023 – 4 February 2024.

Lastly, outside of London, our 2023 alum Saba Khan presents Glacial Movements and the Ghaib at Canterbury Christ Church University as part of her collective, the Pak Khawateen Painting Club – and together with Lumen Studios (which also include Delfina alum associate Louise Beer), running 18 September 2023 – 9 January 2024.
