Watch Nikolett Balázs introduce her practice and research during her residency at Delfina during the summer 2025 season.
Nikolett shares details about her textile-based practice, creating objects and installations that explore materials, memory and the underlying realities of human existence. She reflects on her relationship with inherited craft traditions, her works Thirsty Well and her installation created for the SACO Biennial in Chile, and discusses how her time at Delfina encouraged a more open and vulnerable approach to her process and materials.
Nikolett’s residency was generously supported by Delfina Foundation’s Network of Central and Eastern Europe Patrons.
