Open Studios: Avani Tanya

Drop in and visit artist Avani Tanya‘s studio at the V&A. Avani Tanya is in joint residence with Delfina Foundation and the V&A South Asian Collections as part of Here, There & Everywhere.

Tanya trained as a visual artist and communication designer. Her interests lie in how the collective human experience can be interpreted through stories embedded in found objects and artefacts. Her past projects involve themes of collecting and documenting memories from displaced communities, particularly those on perilous journeys during times of unrest.

A second open studio will be taking place on 16 and 17 September 2017.
