Successful applicants to our research fellowship and Politics of Food residency programme have been named.
Two open calls have recently closed at Delfina Foundation for our Research Fellowship and our first thematic residency on the ‘politics of food’.
We are happy to announce that Srajana Kaikini from India has been selected for the Research Fellowship funded by the Foundation for Indian Contemporary Art in partnership with Goldsmiths College and Iniva. In our first collaboration with SAHA, Merve Ünsal from Turkey has been selected for the same fellowship.
Delfina Foundaton received over 300 applications from nearly 70 countries for the ‘politics of food’ open call. We currently extending invitations for this round of residencies to Asuncion Molinos(Spain/Egypt); Raed Yassin (Lebanon); Jonathan Cane (South Africa); Elia Nurvista (Indonesia); Michael Vazquez (USA); James Muriuki (Kenya); Ayreen Anastas (Palestine/USA) & Rene Gabri (Iran/USA), in collaboration with The Showroom; and Maryam Jafri(Pakistan/USA) in collaboration with Gasworks. Several short-term ‘guests’ will be invited as well including: Nat Muller (The Netherlands), Bisi Silva (Nigeria), and Livia Alexander (USA). More to be announced!
