Explore and reflect on histories of land, soil and socio-ecological pasts and presents, through walking, collecting and painting.

Join our artist-in residence Maya Marshak in a part-walking, part-landscape painting workshop exploring the landscape of the National Trust Quarry Bank (Cheshire) through attention to the soil.

Participants will create compostable landscape paintings using found materials and soil from the site.

Suitable for beginners aged 16 and over. All materials provided. National Trust admission charges do not apply to participate in this event. For more details please follow the link below.

POLITICS OF FOOD

The event is part of the public programme of Delfina Foundation’s fifth season of the Politics of Food, in partnership with Gaia Art Foundation and with additional support from a range of individuals and partners.
