Explore and reflect on histories of land, soil and socio-ecological pasts and presents, through walking, collecting and painting.

Join our artist-in residence Maya Marshak in a part-walking, part-landscape painting workshop exploring the landscape of the National Trust Quarry Bank (Cheshire) through attention to the soil.

Participants will create compostable landscape paintings using found materials and soil from the site.

Suitable for beginners aged 16 and over. All materials provided. National Trust admission charges do not apply to participate in this event. For more details please follow the link below.

This offsite event is in collaboration with FutureEverything as part of the Unintended Consequences programme at Quarry Bank.

Maya Marshak’s residency at Delfina Foundation is in collaboration with Chatham House.
