The Transcultural Memory students from the MA Contemporary Art Theory and Global Arts at Goldsmiths propose an evening of crisis foods in which they explore how food and crisis are interrelated. Natural disasters, global food market speculation, war, riots, crop failures could all result in a change of diet for those affected. During the event a variety of crisis food case studies will be presented and will make up a complete crisis food menu.
Particpating students include: Kanerva Lehtonen, Emma Massoud, Christina Photiou, Suzanne Rietdijk, Savitri Sastrawan, Fanny Steckel, I-Chien Tang, Aruma Toyama, and Tan Wang.
This event is part of our second season of The Politics of Food: Sex, Diet & Disaster.
