What kind of structures or institutions are required for the accommodation of interests and subjects born from the interaction between participants, groups of teachers, and the broader social context? How can the attention of educational institutions move from the production of knowledge – based on information and skills – to processes of learning – based on shifts in perception, critical approaches, visions and governing principles?

DAAR (Sandi Hilal and Alessandro Petti) return to Delfina Foundation to engage in The Public Domain programme and host a discursive event drawing on their project Campus in Camps. This educational platform shifts the space of the university to refugee camps, allowing the university to open its doors to other forms of knowledge, to experimental and communal learning and to combine critical reflection with action.

This event will be an opportunity to hear from DAAR about this specific project, and to broadly consider the questions that drive it. For further information about Campus in Camps, please read this essay by Alessandro Petti and watch the this video.
