Ayreen Anastas and Rene Gabri have taken up residency at Delfina Foundation and are preparing for their exhibition at The Showroom which opens at the end of February.

Let it not be said they were naively, fearfully, simply, just making art
Exhibition dates: 25 February–29 March
Venue: The Showroom, 63 Penfold Street, London NW8 8PQ

As the artists write, “Let it not be said… will be part of Commoning Times, a larger investigation with collaborators in London and beyond, exploring the modes of questioning and doing that could confront the dictatorship of the community of money, which more and more marks these times with destruction, dispossession, and deprivation (the stream from the water, the plant from the seed, the soil from the life…).”

The project runs alongside their residency, part of the first season of new thematic residencies at Delfina Foundation on The Politics of Food.
