Michael Windle (UK) is an artist living and working in Edinburgh Scotland, who uses computers to augment traditional studio practice to help generate screenprints, photographs, multimedia and video. He is a lecturer at Edinburgh College of Art.

Previoius exhibitions include Glasgow Fim Festival at CCA Glasgow (2011), For Your Eye, All Art Now, Damascus (2010), #Moich TXTNG, Perth Concert Hall (2009),  Running Time: Artist Films in Scotland 1960 to Now, Dean Gallery, Edinburgh (2009), Visionary Drawings, Mass MOCA USA (2009), Negativnights, Edinburgh Printmakers (2007), among many others.

Michael was Delfina Foundation resident artist in Damascus, Syria, during which time he created a large-scale video work with a group of emerging Syrian artists. An excerpt of the video can be viewed here. The full work comprises 250 videos that run from a hard drive randomly in split-screen format with three different streams of soundtrack.
