Marisabel Villagomez (Bolivia) works with artists and other professionals to develop an agenda about contemporary issues relating to sustainable forms of land use and production. Through interventions in historically important landscapes, she and her collaborators seek to develop a shared knowledge about what such landscapes mean to their contemporary inhabitants.
During her residency at Delfina Foundation, Marisabel will develop an editorial and financial strategy for a publication of the first 50 interventions in landscape she has collaborated on over the years. Additionally, she intends to research the importance of long-term interventions on architectural landscapes that might incorporate a restorative relationship to sustainability.
Marisabel is born and based in Bolivia.
