Hassan Meer (Oman) received a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art in 1999 and a Master’s degree in Art in 2000 from Savannah College of Art and Design, Georgia, USA. During his studies, he started using video and installation art to complement his painting practice.
In 2000, he set up Circle Group with friends and colleagues to encourage contemporary practices and a new form of exhibition making in Oman. The first iteration took place that year and continues from time-to-time.
Hassan’s work has been presented in many local and international exhibitions.
