Ghazaleh Hedayat (Iran) has a practice that spans photography, video and object-installations. She works with different mediums to explore the theme of “silence” through the human senses.
Ghazaleh has shown her work in Iran and internationally such as Devi Art Foundation, India (2012); Azad Art Gallery, Tehran (2012); Freies Museum, Berlin (2011); Dar Al Funoon Gallery, Kuwait (2010); Intersection for the Arts, San Francisco (2009); Forum Schlossplatz, Switzerland (2009); Cicero Gallery, Berlin (2007); New Hall, Cambridge (2007); Tour Show, Australia (2007); Silk Road Gallery, Tehran (2006); FRI-ART Centre D’Art, Fribourg, Switzerland (2007); Baudoin Lebon Gallery, Paris (2005); San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery (2004) and Khak Gallery, Tehran (2004).
Ghazaleh received her MFA in New Genre from San Francisco Art Institute in 2005 and her BFA in Photography from Tehran Azad University in 2002. She currently lives and works in Tehran.
