Eduardo Navarro (Argentina) in his practice explores ways of transforming our perception in order to have a new understanding of our world. He considers his work an emotional technology, a tool that allows us to investigate trust, empathy and contemplation with non-human entities.

During this residency, Eduardo will develop a new commission for a forthcoming exhibition at Wellcome Collection in London opening in May 2021. The exhibition will reimagine our relationship with the vegetal world.

This new choreography-workshop will be based on seeing with the skin and synching breathing with the movement of light in space to reach a holistic state of existence similar to plants.

Eduardo’s recent solo exhibitions include MAC Niterói, Rio de Janeiro (2019); Pivô, São Paulo (2019); The Drawing Centre, New York (2018); Der TANK, Basel (2017); and Museo Tamayo, Mexico (2016). His work has also bee featured at Castello de Rivoli, Turin (2018); TBA21–Academy, Vienna (2017); the São Paulo Biennial (2016 and 2010); New Museum Triennial, New York (2015); Sharjah Biennial (2015); Malba, Buenos Aires (2015) and Mercosul Biennial (2013 and 2009).
