Colleen Ritzau Leth (USA/UK) is a London-based strategic advisor to museums and cultural organisations.
Since 2014, Colleen has served as Executive Director of Tauck Ritzau Innovative Philanthropy which she co-founded to provide long-term investments in economic and social development projects across the culture sector. The foundation’s areas of focus include world heritage site conservation, artist residencies, and public-private advocacy coalitions with active projects on five continents.
A specialist in cultural diplomacy, international affairs, and destination stewardship with 20 years of experience in museums, Colleen has worked for organisations including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Sotheby’s, the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, and the Royal Academy of Arts in support of culture sector-focused development projects.
Colleen serves as President of the Board of Directors at Tauck Family Foundation, USA; Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Statens Museum of Kunst, Denmark; and Member of the Board of Directors of the Châteaux de Versailles, France.
Colleen holds a BA in Art History and Architecture from Barnard College, Columbia University, an MA in Art History from the Institute of Fine Arts at NYU, and an MBA from the University of Oxford where she was Chair of the Art & Business Network.
