Iosu Aramburu (Peru) in his paintings, installations and institutional work explores ways to understand a heterogeneous modernity and to recover its utopian potential.
During his residency at Delfina, Iosu will conduct research towards the completion of a three-chapter project that maps modernity as a global and diverse experience.
Iosu is based in Lima and is a founding member of Bisagra, a grassroots art institution; and the Colección Cooperativa, an art collecting initiative for twentieth century works, structured as an artist cooperative. He is also editor for Cubo Abierto, the magazine of Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, Lima.
