The Delfina Foundation provides opportunities for artists, curators and writers to develop their work, explore connections, and build collaborations with colleagues, communities and institutions based in the UK and the Middle East & North Africa.

We facilitate professional development for our residents at all levels of their career, from emerging to established art professionals. Residents are invited to take part in the programme for a maximum of three-months at a time.

In London, we host, on average, 14 artists-in-residence per year. Previous artists have hailed from Syria, Palestine, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, Turkey, Bahrain, Algeria, Jordan and Lebanon.

In the Middle East & North Africa, we work with a network of organisations to create pathways for artists based in the West. Previous artists have participated in residencies in Halabja (Northern Iraq), Damascus (Syria), Bethlehem (Palestine), Dubai (UAE), and Beirut (Lebanon).
