
Fadi Yazigi was born in Latakia, Syria and graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus in 1988.
Among the most important contemporary artists working in Syria today, Fadi has had numerous solo and collective exhibitions in the Middle East, Europe and the United States.
During his time in London, Fadi experimented with new forms and created several responses that reinvent the complexity and movement of Poussin’s ‘Sacraments’ in his signature style of clay relief. He also delivered a lecture at the National Gallery (Poussin's ' Sacraments - Rites of Passage and Continuing Creativity) with curator Jo Hedley as part of the National Gallery’s Lunchtime Lectures programme.

Born in Budapest, Hungary, Hala Muhanna is a curator and visual artist. She studied at the Adham Ismaeel Art School and Damascus University (2006), before joining the Mustafa Ali Gallery and Art Foundation as a Project Coordinator and Translator.
Whilst at Mustafa Ali Foundation, Hala organized several exhibitions and projects involving international artists and partners. She came into residence at The Delfina Foundation to further develop her curatorial skills. As part of her residency, Hala interned at the Tate Modern, working on the Duchamp, Man Ray and Picabia exhibition, as well as the major retrospective exhibition of Cy Twombly.
Hala currently lives and work in Syria.
