Delfina Foundation is partnering with ArteVue for its inaugural ArtePrize, the winner of which will receive a three-month residency.

Delfina Foundation is partnering with ArteVue – the first app dedicated to the discovery, curation, sharing and acquisition of work by emerging artists from all over the world – to launch an annual artist prize, the winner of which will be awarded a three-month residency at Delfina Foundation and $15,000 USD.

The ArteVue ArtePrize encourages international artists to consider what technology means for art, and what art means for technology. Calling upon emerging creatives to submit a work that embodies their personal interpretation of the art world of the future, the ArtePrize asks entrants to consider the direction of our rapidly evolving art ecosystem, encouraging dialogue centred on the relationship between art and technology.

Specifically aimed at global artists aged 18 to 30 who are not yet represented by an established gallery, submissions will be made exclusively through the ArteVue App taking in 2-dimensional works on paper and canvas, photography and 3-dimensional sculpture.

ArtePrize is the first ever art prize that artists can enter through an App and is truly global, harnessing the power of technology.  Entry is simple: artists who fit the criteria simply need to download the App and upload their work. Entry is free and restricted to one entry per artist.

A judging panel chaired by Aaron Cezar, Founding Director of Delfina Foundation, and made up of, Nada Raza, Curator of the Tate Research Centre; Joe Kennedy, Founder of The Unit Gallery; Rana Begum, artist; Shohidul Ahad-Choudhury,ArteVue’s Founder; and others will judge the submissions.

Ten finalists will be interviewed by the judging panel and featured in a stand-alone exhibition at Delfina Foundation.

Deadline for entries: 11:59pm GMT on Sunday, October 1st 2017
